Hi! Today was our first work day at Rays of Peace! We started off at 7:30 in the morning and had an amazing breakfast and coffee! After that we got hard out work! Today, the solar team worked out the critical details of the project and created an action plan for our two week deadline. We met with the local electrician, Pinto, who shared his thoughts on our ideas and guided us in the most effectived direction. Tomorrow, we will be shopping for tools and finishing prepping Rays of Peace's campus for wiring and the installation of the solar PV system. Abby got the chance to help homeschool two of the children of one of the collaborators we are working with! Today in their lessons they learned the importance of a house and all the different parts of a building. In the afternoon the team engaged with the children and taught them hacky sack and keep away! We ended the day with night time devotions and another amazing dinner!
