Rays of Peace
​Rays of Peace (ROP) is a Christian mission devoted to uplifting the vulnerable in Bengaluru, India with a Children’s home and a Temple Prostitute Rescue.
The Problem
India has regular grid power outages from extreme weather and loadshedding of up to two days. This unreliable electricity leads to spoiled food, limited access to light in the evenings, and irregular access to other necessities.
Solar PV's Role
The Solar PV team has been working alongside ROP as technical consultants to help them navigate quotes from local solar dealers and optimize their system. While in India, the team will be rewiring ROP’s electrical system to integrate the newly installed solar PV system on the campus.
