Day 11/12

Wednesday was a slow day. First, At 9:30, we walked the children to school, about a 15 minute walk up the road. Then, with our work being mostly complete, most of us worked on cleaning up the campus and helping the other teams finish up their final tasks. Adam and Dereck worked on finishing up the junction box at the church. Then in the afternoon, we played volleyball and then went to get the children from school at 4:30. When the children returned, we played some more games and then had devotional at 7:30. After that we had dinner and said goodbye to all the kids. We then packed our things and prepared to leave at 5 the following morning.

We woke up this morning around 4:15 and packed into the bus on our way to Mysore Palace. On the way, we stopped at a reasturant and ate many different Indian breakfast foods. After that, it was a long drive, but it was definitely worth it. Mysore palace was beautiful and the history behind it was very interesting. After we visited the palace, we visited a bird sanctuary and went on a boat tour. We saw many different kinds of birds and we also saw a few crocodiles. After the bird sanctuary, we started our long trek back to Bangalore to check in at a hotel. On our way home, we stopped again for a late lunch and we bought some chocolate from a chocolate store. We finally arrived at our hotel safely and were ready for a good day tommorow
